A starting point for business registration research

US Business Lookup brings retained registration records and related public collections into searchable business profiles. Start with a legal name, compare the jurisdiction and registration number, and follow the official source to verify the current record.

We are an independent directory, unaffiliated with state registries. Search and useful public summaries are free. Subscriptions provide access to available full details, retained source fields and exports. We do not file registrations, issue government certificates or guarantee a business’s standing.

Coverage and trust

Official datasets and archive-only listings have different dates and limits. Missing fields stay missing; reported people retain their source roles. A source date is not a live check. Review the source inventory and our methodology and update process.
